The land was bought in June in 1909 by Commissioner Fredrick Booth Tucker to cater educational services among the rural communities of Punjab. The building was constructed since then. The parents feel absolutely satisfied with the services provided by The Salvation Army in Educational Ministry. The Motto of the Campus, “To Save Souls through Education In The Name Of Jesus.”
This institution is serving the locality in education since 1924 to till date with its unstoppable efforts and challenges.
In 1967 when The Salvation Army decided to go with policy of Punjab Govt. for grant in Aid scheme. Many families got benefit with their secure services and handsome salaries.
In 2004 govt. stopped to recruit the teachers on aided posts and The Salvation Army decided to start English Medium School and College that these services remain in continuity for the locality. In 2014 The School got affiliation with CBSE and provided the opportunities to many people that they may send their dears ones to school and have good education without spending much.
Although people get huge benefits from the institution but whenever they get any brittle point of the administration on any issue, they try their level best to exploit it. At that our heart breaks up into hundreds of pieces and think to come back to the original place of working but the vision of the pioneers make us strong again and to serve all these who are against us without any ill will. The words of Jesus make us bold in services that “Those who sow in tears, shall reap in joys”.
